Answering Questions

1. How important do you think motivation is for success in language learning,  compared to, for example, language aptitude?

If somebody has language aptitudes, in my opinion, this person will be motivated, because she is good learning a second language, it is easier that other subjects
for him/her.
If a person is motivated, and is not successful in what he/she wants, he/she is not going to be motivated, this motivation will dissapear.
And, on the other hand, if this persona is success learning a second language, he/she will be motivated, because he/she obviously is going to want more good grades and possitive comments.

2. How important is people's past success in language learning for their  motivation to learn in the present and future?

In my opinion, I think is really important. If it was difficult for him/her, and he/she couldn't adquire the language in a right way, he won't be able to adquire a new language better than the first one.
