Metacognition

Ideas to promote metacognition:

My ideas to promote metacognition are:
- Tell students to pay more attention to X part of the class (explanations)
- Self-evaluation
- Interactive questioning
- At the beginning of the class, tell students what we want to them to achieve. At the end of the class, ask students if the acquired the goal.
- At home, read what we have studied today, again.
- Before go to sleep, check if you have all the necessary: dictionary, worksheets, etc.

In your own words, What is automaticity?

For me, automaticity is when we learn something and we do it without be thinking in the process of it, just unconsciously.

How we develop automaticity?

We develop automaticity through learning, repetition and practice.
